Main three differences between AC universal motor and Induction motors

① There are carbon brush inside Universal motors,which will be wore out slowly.There are sparks when the motor works and cause strong electromagnetic interference and has high speed.While,no carbon brush inside induction motor,the speed often is under 3000RPM.

② Universal motor has a big noise,high starting torque,can used for AC&DC motors,but noise of induction motor is relatively low.

③ Universal motors has a short life than induction motor.
